First Aid
Would your employees know what to do in the event of an accident?
The Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981, state that it is a legal requirement to provide trained first aiders in the workplace.
Total People are accredited by the Health and Safety Executive to deliver a full range of first aid courses that are high quality, flexible and affordable:
4 day First Aid at Work
A comprehensive training programme covering all aspects of first aid. On completion of the course, candidates will be competent to deal with both minor and major incidents, ranging from everyday illness to major road accidents.
2 day Re-qualification
A re-qualification course for those candidates whose first aid certificate has recently expired. The programme revisits the major subjects, enabling candidates to re-qualify for a further three years.
1 day Appointed Person
This is the minimum qualification that ensures candidates are trained to deal with any emergency situation that may occur in the workplace or at home.
4 hour Emergency Aid*
A basic introduction to first aid that will provide candidates with an understanding of how to deal with emergency situations such as the control of bleeding and cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
