  • Apprenticeship in Industrial Applications
Level 2 NVQs

Depending on your job role you will choose from either:

  • Performing Engineering Operations
  • Performing Manufacturing Operations
  • Marine Engineering (pathway MEG: Composites)
Level 2 VRQ
  • Award in Industrial Environment Awareness
Additional
  • Key Skill Level 1 Application of Number
  • Key Skill Level 1 Communications
  • Employment Responsibilities and Rights
Units covered Depending on your job role you could cover a range of the following topics through your Diploma: 

  • Complying with statutory regulations and organisational safety requirements
  • Promoting effective working relationships
  • Contributing to effective team working
Entry requirements You must be employed at least 30 hours/week. 

Learners must be able to demonstrate the potential to achieve an NVQ Level 2 and have sufficient knowledge and ability to undertake training to achieve Key Skills and a suitable Technical Certificate.

Who is it for? This Apprenticeship is for anyone who works in the manufacturing industry.

Aged 25 and over

Assessment method You will put together a portfolio of evidence that will be assessed using a range of methods. Observation of real work will be used for all competence based units, in addition you will be asked to provide witness testimony and discussion and carry out knowledge based questions.

  • Good practical skills
