Asbestos Awareness
Why do the course?
Asbestos is the greatest single cause of work related deaths in the UK. Each year over 1000 people die from cancer as a result of breathing asbestos fibres.
Any building built or refurbished before 2000 is still likely to contain Asbestos and is therefore a major hazard for people working in the trades industry.
Course Content
Total People run an awareness course to inform your staff about:
- The dangers of Asbestos
- Where Asbestos can be found
- What to do if it is found
- Safety precautions to put in place to minimise the risk
The course lasts for 2 hours and can be delivered in your workplace or at a Total People Training Centre.
Costings
A group of 14 people will cost £250. For smaller groups, please call for pricing information. All attendees will receive a certificate.
