Total People has a specialised team of Skills for Life tutors who deliver flexible, work based English and Maths training. All learning is tailored to meet the needs of your staff and is delivered in the work place at a time to suit you.

Qualifications

All staff will be assessed on entry to the programme to identify their areas for development and their target qualification. These nationally recognised qualifications are:

  • Certificate in Adult Literacy/Numeracy Level 1 (same level as GCSE D-G)
  • Certificate in Adult Literacy/Numeracy Level 2 (same level as GCSE*A-C)

Who is eligible?

All staff aged 19 or over with a need to brush up their English or Maths.

What is the cost?

All funding is covered by the Government programme Train to Gain. All we ask from you is the commitment to release your staff to allow them access to attend the learning sessions.

How long will it take?

All learning is individual, but on average each qualification takes between six and nine months.
