Staff at a large mobility organisation have gained vital First Aid and Health and Safety skills after receiving training from Total People.
Six members of staff at Ableworld, the largest mobility and stairlift retailer in the North West, attended the day’s course where they carried out Emergency First Aid at Work and Manual Handling training.
PA to the company Managing Director Sally Fearon, contacted Total People about the courses.
“A number of members of staff are currently doing NVQs in Customer Service with the support of Total People so we spoke to our adviser about First Aid who then put us in touch with the trainer.”
The courses which are approved by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) were delivered at Ableworld’s Head Office in Stapeley near Nantwich.
HR Director Paul Boniface said feedback from staff was positive.
“The courses were interesting, engaging and practical and have equipped our staff with essential knowledge in the event of an emergency.”
