Entry to Employment (e2e)
What is e2e?
Entry to Employment (e2e) is a training programme designed for 16-18 year olds who are not currently involved in school, college, employment or training but who want to get on. e2e will support you in building your confidence, help you with basic and key skills, and give you activities and training aimed at helping you to find work - when you're ready.
And what's more, you could even get paid.
And if you are facing issues in your life which you think might hold you back, we can definitely help you to move forward onto the right path.
How much does it all cost?
The e2e programme does not cost you or your family anything. In fact, if you meet certain guidelines you could get paid an Educational Maintenance Allowance (EMA).
What is the EMA?
Basically, EMA is cash in your hands to help you carry on learning. If you're 16, 17 or 18 and have left, or are about to leave, compulsory education, then it could be for you.
EMA spells fewer money worries with up to £30 a week during term time - leaving you to get on with your studies.

What could EMA do for you?
EMA is paid straight into your bank account.
Whatever you decide to do, EMA could help you with the cost of books, travel, equipment or anything useful to continue learning.
It's worth up to £30 a week, and it's paid straight into your bank account, not to your parents or your college.
What happens if I join?
You will be given a programme of activities and learning which has been designed especially for you. It will include things like communication skills and key skills, as well as events such as abseiling or recording your own music in a studio.
Once you feel ready, you'll be offered a work placement in a job that interests you - and this could lead to full-time, fully-paid employment.
