Daniel left school with 10 GCSE’s at grade A* – C and then went on to get 3 A levels and 4 AS Levels at his local sixth form.

“My experience at school and sixth form was good. I worked hard to achieve good grades in my GCSE’s and A Levels as well as learning new skills, making new friends and increasing my knowledge of various subjects.”

After leaving sixth form, Daniel then went onto applying for an Apprenticeship in the dental industry and gained a position with Milehouse Dental Practice in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

“The Apprenticeship programme appealed to me because it’s a well structured course where you attend college once a week; you are assigned a tutor who visits you at your place of work to ensure that you are staying on target throughout the qualification and support is always available.”

Daniel is now a qualified Dental Nurse and is registered with the General Dental Council. The practice have also allowed him to complete an impression taking and fluoride application course earlier this year.
