Dental Training Adviser/Assessor

Total People have a vacancy for a Dental Training Adviser/Assessor.

The successful candidates will have:

  • Sound, current experience in the dental sector
  • Current knowledge of NVQs and the assessment process
  • Ambition and a keenness to achieve targets
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to support a caseload of young people
  • Driving licence and access to a car
  • NVQ City & Guilds or NEBDN qualified

Desirable qualifications

  • A1 or D32 and D33
  • Post qualifications in Radiography and OHI

The post also includes the training of dental nurses to NVQ Level 3

Competitive salary including car allowance.



E2E Personal and Social Skills Trainer

Closing date: 12th March 2010

We have vacancies for an enthusiastic Trainer to be based at our office in Burslem.

Main responsibilities are to:

  • Deliver the e2e curriculum to learners
  • Develop and deliver a programme of initial assessment that meets individual needs
  • Develop and deliver training sessions with particular regard to personal and social skills and preparing for the world of work

It is essential that the applicants have:

  • Empathy with young people
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Literacy and numeracy skills
  • A training qualification or will be willing to undertake an internal training course for PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector)
  • Current Driving Licence
