About the apprenticeship
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Company for two Trainee / Apprentice Electricians to join our team in delivering outstanding service and Electrical Installation works to our customers.
The applicants will need to be keen and enthusiastic to become a part of a driven experienced team of engineers to learn the industry helping in the delivery of projects to meet the highest standards and work programme constraints. Responsibilities for the applicant will include;·
- Onsite work of Domestic, Commercial and Industrial facilities
- Installation works including; Lighting, Power, Sub Mains, Distribution, Generators, UPS systems, Earth Systems, Door Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Security Systems all incorporating varied wiring systems, cable types- Fault finding, diagnosis and repair
- Planned and reactive maintenance works
- Inspection, testing and commissioning of Electrical Installations and Systems
- Liaising with other colleagues and trades during contract works
- Complying with all Health and Safety requirements
- Dealing with a wide range of people in all levels of the building/sub-contracting industry
The position includes uniform and PPE. Successful applicants will have to provide their own Hand Tools. The person will enjoy working to deadlines, be focused, be passionate about their work and have the ability to work under pressure when needed
