The company are looking to recruit a Childcare Apprentice to join their team, working with children aged 2-4years.
About the apprenticeship
Key areas:
- To support and work alongside the children
- To complete all training as set by the setting
- To complete all set tasks in a timely manner
- To work as part of the team
- To liaise and work alongside mentor and manager
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Complete set tasks in a timely manner
- To attend all meetings and participate and contribute in communicating ideas
- Support children’s care routines such as washing, changing and feeding, whilst being supervised
- To support children’s personal, social and emotional needs
- Interact within children within the setting in a way that meets their individual needs
- To attend all training relevant to the role and deemed appropriate by the manager/training provider
- To be aware of the setting policies that the manager deems appropriate
- Work as part of a team
You will help to ensure the safety and security of children in the pre-school whilst promoting the children's learning and enjoyment through planned play experiences.
Apprenticeship qualification and training
Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
- End-Point Assessment (EPA)
Additional support and guidance will be planned monthly with your Total People Advisor.

Open Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 15:25, term time only.
