The job covers all sorts!! We run two companies from the premises, JRB Systems, an electrical contractor and System Electrical Supplies, an electrical wholesaler. The administration for both companies is included in the role.
Apart from the usual paperwork and day to day running of the office there is the accounts. Training will be provided for the purchase and sales ledgers for both companies.
JRB has bespoke software for dealing with our clients encompassing commercial, high street retail and smaller projects within maintenance and property. Any information needs be dealt with quickly and accurately.
We also have sub-contractors who require information, equipment, materials and maybe accommodation during contracts. This will form part of the duties expected to be fulfilled by the successful candidate.
We have an office dog. A Hungarian Vizsla eight month old puppy. He is boisterous and bounds about a lot, though he isn’t in every day. I don’t expect a dog lover, but somebody who is tolerant of dogs would be helpful.
Daily duties may include:-
Administration paperwork filing and organisation
Assisting with administration of accounts
Purchase and sales ledgers
Support for subcontractors
To be considered for a permanent role upon successful completion of apprenticeship
