Overview
Peter Pan Pre-School are looking for a Childcare Apprentice to join their team to assist members of the Early Years workforce. You will work towards a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard.
About the apprenticeship
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Help ensure the safety and security of children in the setting
- Promoting the children's learning and enjoyment through planned play experiences
- Supporting children's care routines such as meal and sleep times
- Helping to prepare, carry out and clear away a wide range of childcare activities and resources
- Supporting language acquisition and language skills
- Supervise and support children's play extending their interests
- Ensuring children feel safe and secure at all times
- Adhering to settings policies and procedures
Apprenticeship qualification and training
Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
- End-Point Assessment (EPA)
About the employer
