About the apprenticeship
CSS, Winsford are searching for an enthusiastic apprenticeship to work as a Production Engineering Operative Apprentice. As an apprentice, you will assist with the assembly and testing of chemical processing equipment, the role will be extremely varied.
The main apprentice role will include much of the following:
- Assembly/building equipment
- Welding (plastics but also metal)
- Fitting plastic tubing
- Wiring
- Testing
- Working to drawings
- Using hand tools
- Working to strict health and safety guidelines at all times
- Other work as reasonably requested
The role will be entirely based in the companies Winsford facility, but there will be need to attend training in Crewe once or twice a week.
This is a supportive employer offering a varied apprenticeship with a full-time position planned following completion of the apprenticeship programme.
