About the apprenticeship
Spreadside, Nantwich are an established manufacturer of agricultural slurry handling equipment, the business starting in 1991. They are one of the founding members of the British Dairy Consortium.
The business is now in a position to offer a varied engineering apprenticeship to a enthusiastic candidate with a genuine willingness to build a career in the field of engineering.
Core activities associated with the role include but not limited to:
- MIG Welding
- Mild steel preparation, sawing, drilling etc.
- Equipment assembly and fit out
- Hydraulic pipe lines
- Equipment servicing and repairs
- Pump rebuilds
- Other related tasks associated with the role as reasonably requested
Training will include a requirement for one day a week workshop training based in Crewe.
This is a supportive employer with friendly supportive staff to support a new apprentice.
