About the apprenticeship

Key responsibilities:

  • You will supervise and notify service user of any changes to the service due to absence of staff and to cover work during absence
  • To provide verbal & written feedback - you will report any identified needs of service users, which are not met, as well as any changes in circumstances of service users
  • Encourage service users to maintain their own independence & where appropriate supervise service users who are able to undertake daily living tasks themselves
  • To regular liaise with the Care Coordinator regarding arrangements & report any concerns about service users
  • To develop & maintain links with other professionals both in Health & Social Services
  • Prioritise workloads & to work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines
  • Record information appropriately and acutely regarding service users care or special requirements over the phone or in person
  • To record information on manual systems with regard to work activities undertaken on a day-to-day basis
  • To carry out all duties & responsibilities with due regard to equal opportunities policy & ensure that all tasks are performed to meet service user’s needs
Future Prospects

Upon completion of your apprenticeship, a permanent position may be available.
