We are looking for an apprentice to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to undertake a Production Chef Apprenticeship.
About the apprenticeship
Your day-to-day tasks will be varied but based around supporting the Head Chef in the following tasks:
- Preparing attractive menus to nutritional standards
- Controlling and ordering stock and inspecting it on delivery
- Preparing products for cooking
- Scraping and washing large quantities of vegetables and salads
- Cooking and presenting food creatively
- Monitoring production to maintain quality and consistent portion sizes
- Working under pressure to make sure food is served on time
- Keeping to hygiene, health and safety and licensing rules
Apprenticeship qualification and training
- Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
