Overview
Young Explorers are looking for an Apprentice Early Years Practitioner who will work alongside qualified practitioners who will guide and support them in the training. You will work towards a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard.
About the apprenticeship
The role includes intimate care of nappy changing and feeding, must be able to get from floor level to standing whilst holding a baby.
Role involves playing at floor level, duties will include:
- Feeding and caring for children
- Organising activities
- risk assessments
- planning activities
- Talking to parent
- All supported by other staff
Apprenticeship qualification and training
Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
- End-Point Assessment (EPA)
