About the apprenticeship
Packaging Automation Ltd based in Knutsford require a hardworking and reliable person to join their organisation as an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter. Full training to be provided by Packaging Automation Ltd and Total People. You will start a recognised Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Apprenticeship with a mechanical bias which will include a Crewe based weekly off site training need.
Tasks associated with the role include:
- Installation/maintenance/repair of mechanical machines, equipment and controls
- Following manufacturers manuals for maintenance and repair
- Studying and acting upon mechanical based diagrams
- Tools calibration
- Inspection and testing of equipment and machines
- Carrying our preventative maintenance activities
- Carrying out quality control checks
- Other duties as reasonably directed
Apprenticeship qualification and training
- Engineering Technician Level 3 Standards
- Functional Skills if required
