Tyrers Coaches has a rare and exciting opportunity for an ambitious, driven individual to join the company's operations team as an Apprentice Business Administrator, working towards completing Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship in association with Total People Ltd.
About the apprenticeship
In this role, you will provide wide-ranging administrative support to the operations team and to the wider business.
Tyrers Coaches is one of the North West's leading independent bus and coach operators, employing more than 140 individuals with a fleet of 120+ vehicles across two operating centres.
This excellent opportunity is aimed at learners who are interested in forging a career within the bus and coach sector, in particular within a thriving and well-established family-owned operation with 50 years industry experience.
This in an office-based role.
Providing wide-ranging support to the operations team and the business as a whole with day-to-day activities.
Duties may include:
- Data entry and monitoring to ensure compliance with industry regulations on matters such as drivers hours, working time and passenger data reporting
- Making and receiving phone calls and liaising with both internal and external customers on a variety of issues
- Handling and responding to email enquiries
- Scanning and preparing documents as required
- Developing content for company social media and handling enquiries received through these channels
- Assisting with projects as required
