About the apprenticeship
Core activities with the role include
- 1st point of contact via surgery visits, telephone
- Help patients obtain the best service
- Ensure smooth running of surgeries for doctors, other clinical staff
- Reception duties during surgeries and clinics
- Answering telephone, face to face enquiries
- Booking, cancelling, amending appointments
- Retrieving, filing medical records
- Scanning document
- Completing admin forms
- Booking ambulances
- Other related tasks as reasonably requested
Apprenticeship qualification and training
Customer Service Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard, delivered in the workplace
Training on the job, learning through live webinars
About the employer
We operate many clinics for chronic disease care and offer a wide variety of other medical services such as antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.
