Sunflowers at St Anne's Day Nursery are looking for a Level 3 Early Years Apprentice to join their team in September 2021. You will work towards a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard.
About the apprenticeship
You will need to enjoy spending time with children (birth - 5 years old.) being committed to providing an enabling environment that promotes the well-being and development of each individual child in your care.
Support to develop yourself professionally will be provided every step of the way.
Your responsibilities and duties will involve:
- Working alongside the qualified team to provide a safe and stimulating environment for each child
- Appreciating the unique child and promote strong personal relationships with the children in your care
- Working to develop positive parent relationships, engaging with families to meet the needs of each child in your care
- Working as a team and being adaptable to working across the nursery with the different age groups
- Working across all age ranges: baby room, toddler room and pre-school room
- Willing to gain experience in Out of School Club and working with older children
Apprenticeship qualification and training
Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)
- Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
- End-Point Assessment (EPA)
