About the apprenticeship
Our highly qualified and experienced team ensure each child enjoys a happy and rich learning environment. Ideally located within a fitness centre we offer a large range of activities to promote health, wellbeing and future life skills. These include swimming and fun fit classes.
Job Purpose.
To support children's learning within EYFS. Safeguard all children in the nursery and ensure all concerns are recorded accurately and are passed to the DSL To support other team members and colleagues within the nursery. To implement the daily routine.
Duties may include:
- To support staff in the setting
- To care for the children in the setting
- To ensure health and safety at all times
- Adhere to the settings policies and procedures
- Supporting activities with the children
- Support the children's development
- Supporting learning
- Ensuring individual needs are met
Our native Spanish teacher provides an early introduction to Spanish. Hearing a different language helps to increases attentive listening skills, a curiosity for different cultures and a natural enjoyment of a new language without feeling self-conscious. We provide well balanced nutritious nursery meals and snacks, catering for individual dietary needs, for all children to enjoy. We have five bright, spacious rooms: Bears (Birth - 12 months), Lions (12 months - 2 years), Tigers (2 - 3 years) and Foxes (Pre-School 3 - 5 years). All rooms have continuous access to our safe and interesting outdoor area. There is cover and shade to facilitate all weather play and it is equipped to reflect our indoor learning environment. Outdoor play stimulates play experience and contributes to healthy development. We have a special outdoor area for our young babies. Job Purpose To support children's learning within EYFS.
