You will gain first-hand experience in a busy salon with training provided by Jonathan Myles Smith Hairdressing as well as Total People leading to an accredited qualification Hair Professional Standard. As an Apprentice Hairdresser, you will be trained in various aspects of hairdressing including styling, colouring and cutting.

We require a salon apprentice to join us in our friendly salon.
You will gain first-hand experience in a busy salon with training provided by Jonathan Myles Smith Hairdressing as well as Total People leading to an accredited qualification Hair Professional Standard.
As an Apprentice Hairdresser, you will be trained in various aspects of hairdressing including styling, colouring and cutting.
Working as part of a team, customer service, reception, retail, shampooing/conditioning hair and learning the skills to be our future professional in hairdressing.
Daily duties will include:
- Shampooing/Conditioning hair.
- Keeping the salon clean and tidy.
- Greeting clients.
- Making refreshments.
- Answering the telephone.
- Making and booking appointments.
- Preparing clients for further services/treatments.
- Laundry
In time you will also work towards:
- Blow drying.
- Colouring hair.
- Cutting hair.
- Some reception duties may also be included.
We are looking for someone enthusiastic, committed and dedicated to beginning their career in the Hairdressing industry.
