  • Level 3 Diploma in Hospitality Supervision & Leadership
  • Level 3 Award in Hospitality & Leadership
  • Key Skill Application of Number Level 2
  • Key Skill Communication Level 2
  • Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
Units covered Depending on your job role you could cover a range of the following topics through your Diploma:

      Provide leadership for your team

Lead a team to improve customer service

Contribute to develop recipes and menus

Providing learning opportunities for colleagues

Entry requirements You must be employed for at least 30 hours/week in a managerial, supervisory or trainee supervisory role.

Cost
Aged 16-18

Fully funded

Aged 19-24

Aged 25 and over

Duration 18 – 24 months
Start date Available all year
Assessment method You will put together a portfolio of evidence that will be assessed using a range of methods. Observation of real work will be used for all competence based units, in addition you will be asked to provide witness testimony and discussion and carry out knowledge based questions.
Personal qualities To work in a managerial or supervisory role in the hospitality industry you will need to have the following personal qualities:

  • Team player
  • Good personal and organisational skills
  • Motivated
Further progression Once you have completed your Apprenticeship you can look at moving on to a Management qualification at Level 4.
