  • NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Team Leading
  • Technical Certificate – Certificate in Team Leading
  • Key Skill Level 1 Application of Number
  • Key Skill Level 1 Communication
  • Employment Rights and Responsibilities
Units covered During your Apprenticeship you will cover areas such as:

  • Managing personal development
  • Develop working relationships with colleagues
  • Communicate information and knowledge

Learners also select optional units from a diverse range, tailoring their learning to meet their individual and organisational needs

Entry requirements Employed in the role or working towards the role of Team Leader for at least 30 hours per week.
Who is it for? Ideal for Team Leaders with a degree of authority for managing resources, looking to motivate their team members as well as achieve agreed objectives.

Aged 25 and over

Personal qualities The qualifications are designed to give practicing and aspiring Team Leaders a solid foundation in their formal development as a leader.
Further progression On completion of this qualification, you may progress onto other Business Service qualifications such as:

  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Customer Service
  • NVQs in Business & Administration
  • Contact Centre Apprenticeship
  • Accounting Apprenticeship
  • IT Apprenticeship
  • Management Advanced Apprenticeship

Advanced Apprenticeship

  • Set Objectives and provide support for team members
  • Plan, allocate and monitor work of a team

Learners also select optional units from a diverse range, tailoring their learning to meet their individual and organisational needs.

Entry requirements Employed in the role or working towards the role of Team Leader for at least 30 hours per week.
Who is it for? Ideal for first line managers with responsibilities for managing budgets, allocating work to team members/colleagues/contractors, achieving specific results and some degree of decision making.
