Level 3 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician apprenticeship
This apprenticeship provides a practical, cost-effective way to develop skilled technicians, helping your business meet technical demands and industry regulations.
33 months of training plus a 3-month End Point Assessment, combining online learning, on-the-job experience and practical sessions in our Wythenshawe training centre.
Apprentices will learn about:
- Workplace health and safety
- Energy efficiency in the environment
- Scientific principles
- RAC system fabrication
- Installing, testing and maintaining refrigeration and air conditioning heat pump systems
- F-Gas and ODS regulations
- Testing and maintenance techniques
- Industry hand tools.
Apprentices will complete 3 assessments as part of their End Point Assessment:
EPA 1: Multiple-choice knowledge test
EPA 2: Two practical assessments
EPA 3: Professional interview to assess.
