NCFE Level 2 Diploma in Skills for Business

Overview

The NCFE Level 2 Diploma in Skills for Business course offers you the opportunity to develop your knowledge in digital skills and gain a nationally recognised qualification (NCFE Level 1 Essential Digital Skills) which will enable you to progress in your career.

Functional skills are designed to develop and test digital skills that are used in everyday and work-related settings. They are designed to equip you with the skills that employers want, enabling you to be work ready on completion of the course. 

Course details

We offer functional digital skills at Entry Level 1 up to Level 2. To identify the most appropriate level, you will complete some assessments. These results, together with any prior achievement, will be used to identify the most appropriate level for each subject for you. 

Assessments 

On completing the Digital Skills course, you will be assessed on your knowledge and skills within the following areas:

• Customer Service
• Social Care
• Business 
• Public Services
• Hospitality

Course format

This is a classroom-based course with lessons delivered face to face each week.  A dedicated Learning Coach provides you with support throughout the course. 

Entry Requirement

You should have achieved Grade 1-4, GCSE maths and English or Level 1-2 in Functional maths and English
