Total People recently celebrated the achievements of over 60 learners at our first ever Study Programme Awards.
Our Study Programmes are designed to help learners aged 16-19 continue their academic studies at a higher level or gain employment at the end of the course. They offer personalised support, in-demand skills and work experience to help young people succeed in their future careers.
Celebrating alongside their friends, families and personal tutors, the Study Programme Awards marked the end of our learners’ programme and their progression into the world or work or further education.
We recognised our Learners of the Year from cohorts in Crewe and Northwich, while awards were also presented for ‘Positive Mindset’, ‘Ray of Sunshine’, ‘Courage to Grow’ and ‘Commitment to Learning’.
Every learner received a Certificate of Achievement to recognise their individual abilities, emphasise the obstacles they’ve overcome and celebrate their progress.
Speaking about the event, Leanne Shaw, Programme Manager, said:
It was wonderful to get together and celebrate the success of our Study Programme learners. They’ve all worked so hard and deserve this recognition.
“I’m incredibly proud of each of them and can’t wait to see what they go on to achieve. This event really highlights how important our Employability Skills courses are in helping young people get job-ready, and giving them the knowledge and confidence to achieve their goals.”
