Fully Funded Apprenticeship Training for Under-25s 

Apprenticeship training is now fully funded for all eligible learners aged under 25, following new guidance introduced on 1 August 2026. The Government expects the reforms to help create 50,000 new youth apprenticeships, increasing opportunities for young people while supporting employers looking to recruit and develop talent. 

The package also includes additional incentives for employers, including up to £8,000 for SME (non-levy payers) hiring young apprentices, plus continued National Insurance contribution relief for apprentices under the age of 25.
