Young people looking to launch their career can now apply for a fully-funded traineeship with Total People to get a head start in their chosen career.

Traineeships are a great way for 16 to 24-year-olds to gain the essential skills that employers are looking for and to take their first step towards an apprenticeship.

Funded by the government, traineeships combine work experience and study. Not only do they offer young people a taste of the workplace, trainees are also given support to help write a CV, prepare for interviews and improve their English, maths and digital skills while enjoying practical, hands-on work experience ready for progression onto an apprenticeship, employment or further education opportunities.

Traineeships with Total People are available in a wide range of industries:

Each programme can be tailored to a person’s needs as well as to what skills and experience local employers, as well as the wider sector, is looking for.

All Total People traineeships offer a guaranteed 70 hours of work experience, which means trainees can develop their confidence and skills in the workplace while being supported by our dedicated Total People team.
