Hattrick is the only content marketing agency specialising in the built environment. We create ‘stand-out’ content for our clients that helps them to achieve their goals.

Tell us more about your 50in5 apprenticeship

We are hunting for a Junior Content Producer apprentice to join our content and outreach team. As a content producer, they will work with us on a whole range of assets – from blogs and social media posts to podcasts and videos, we do it all! This is a fantastic position for a creative and curious person who loves to get involved with a team.

What made you want to recruit an apprentice?

At Hattrick, we are committed to continuous learning and invest heavily in developing the team, so hiring an apprentice was the next natural step for us. Apprenticeships have evolved over the years and they provide a real win-win situation: the apprentice gets experience and is paid for their contribution, while the employer benefits from their fresh perspectives and creativity.

Talk us through the process – how easy was it to recruit your new apprentice through Total People?

Very easy! The Junior Content Producer standard is very popular with young people, who make up a lot of the apprenticeship applications, as they are familiar with the many different types of content that are commonly used for marketing. Total People helped us to seamlessly add the vacancy to the National Apprenticeship website and get in front of the right candidates.

Why did you choose Total People?

They were recommended by other businesses who work with apprentices.

What do you expect to be the benefits of recruiting through an apprenticeship?

Training is very important to us and we recognise that what we invest in our people is returned many times over in loyalty, enthusiasm, and expertise – whether this is through a new hire or an existing employee.

Would you recommend Total People to other employers? If so, why?

Yes. Total People were quick, responsive and able to answer questions we had.
