Jaiden Lewis, Operations Manager for London bus operator Metroline, recently gained a distinction in his Level 5 Management and Leadership Diploma.
He explains what it was like to learn during a pandemic and what how his new qualification has benefited his team as well as his career.
Jaiden said: “In 2018 I started a journey to complete my Chartered Management Institute Level 5 diploma and with a dislike for writing assignments. Back then I had no idea just how much I would actually enjoy it.
“I found the learning enjoyable because of the content of the course, as it has benefitted me and my staff. I’ve learned numerous skills and gained knowledge which has aided me in dealing with members of staff.
I have used tools acquired during this course to have a better understanding of my employees and how I can assist and lead them.
“For me the hardest part of this course was the amount of assignments that I had to complete as I am not one for words, however I found starting my assignments early helped.
“My aim is to continue to improve myself and challenging myself within my current employer or the next.
I’m proud to be joining a growing group of Chartered Managers driving better productivity and performance in the UK.
