Biffa Manchester apprentice Paige Meehan has been named Apprentice of the Month, celebrating her exceptional performance throughout her Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician apprenticeship with Total People.
Since joining the programme in 2024, Paige has impressed both in the workshop and classroom with her consistency, professionalism and strong technical ability. Her learning coach, Jason, describes her as “the best apprentice in every conceivable way,” praising her positive attitude, engagement and high‑quality practical work.
Paige continues to excel across all subjects and performs within the top 5% of her cohort, supported by 100% attendance, strong coursework and a genuine eagerness to learn.
Her dedication extends into the workplace too. She recently supported Biffa’s Early Careers team during their Fleet Apprentice Induction after receiving internal recognition from Regional Fleet Managers Phil Brown and Phil Mitchell.

Jason added that Paige’s leadership qualities, technical knowledge and consistent hard work make her an exemplary apprentice.
