Rewarding Time: Rafiq's Success Story

Father of two graduates with Total People.

Rafiq Mogra studied Level 5 Care Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care for two years before achieving his qualification and attending the 2019 UCEN Manchester and Total People graduation in October 2019.

The father of two was working nights as a Senior Healthcare Assistant in Mental Health while studying to gain his qualification.

And he heaps praise on his learning assessor Victoria Huntley, as well as Total People, for helping him through some difficult times.

Rafiq (59), from Darwen, said: “It was a very demanding time so gaining this qualification means a hell of a lot.

“It gives me the opportunity to go into management work which I hope to do, and it also helped me to see more clearly how health and social care operates in general.

Studying with Total People was a very good experience, they were so supportive, day and night, especially my learning assessor Victoria Huntley.

Wife Lorraine said: “I’m really proud of Rafiq, he has worked really hard for this. Both our daughter and I have our qualifications, now Rafiq has got his!”
