SMEs say thanks for levy gifting

This December, we’re saying thank you to all our levy gifting employers for gifting £1.2m of life changing funds this year.

“We are a small company and the opportunity to receive gifted funds from Skipton has enabled us to grow and expand. 

“We work with young people, those in the care system, young offenders, those that have survived domestic abuse or addiction, and who have decided to pursue something creative with their life. 

“We work closely with training mentors through the Apprenticeship Service to give these learners from as young as 13 one-to-one training and help so that they don’t get lost in the crowd of large classrooms. This helps them to succeed and jump through the hurdles that would normally stop them.”

Qualifications for all at Winshill Childcare 

“With the funds from Smyths Toys Superstore, we were able to get four staff to qualify from Level 2 to Level 3. We were also able to put Management onto a mentoring course. 

“Regarding the process of accessing the funds, the guidance was simple and the website easy to navigate. I have worked with Total People for eight years and wouldn’t go anywhere else.”
