Watch our two virtual panel discussions in collaboration with Manchester City Council.

As part of National Apprenticeship Week 2021, we held two virtual panel discussions exploring all things apprenticeships.

The first was an employer-focused event entitled ‘#Leadthefuture: The impact of the pandemic on healthcare apprenticeships’.

Our experts, including Deputy Managing Director Gina Steele, and Haider Javed, Senior Project Manager for HR/OD at the Council, explored the impact of the pandemic on health and social care sectors, new roles emerging for apprentices as a result and the future of the health and social care sector across Greater Manchester.

The second learner-focused event was entitled ‘#Leadthefuture: Apprenticeships across the professional services’.

Melanie Nicholson, Total People Managing Director, and expert colleagues were joined by employers and apprentices from Manchester City Council and the RSPCA, to explore what employers are looking for from an apprentice, top tips on choosing the right apprenticeship and how to get the best out of an apprenticeship while working from home.

You can watch the two recordings on our dedicated National Apprenticeship Week page.
