About the apprenticeship
A well establish building company based in the Crewe and Nantwich area run by a time served bricklayer’s, the company works throughout the Cheshire area.
The company deliver a range of construction projects including new build, extensions and alterations, so the prospective apprentice would complete a variety of manual tasks during their apprenticeship.
The company is looking for an enthusiastic candidate, with a good work ethic and would value the opportunity to serve an apprenticeship. First class time keeping is essential alongside a can-do attitude to the job.
Duties will include:
- To learn all aspects of Bricklaying and associated building trades skills
- Mixing mortar
- Loading out materials
- Checking measurements
- Laying brick and blocks
- Unloading deliveries
- Keeping the work area tidy and safe
- Pointing brickwork
- General building work as and when required
A first-class opportunity for the right calibre candidate. The ideal location for the prospective apprentice would be in the Crewe or Nantwich area.
The successful apprentice would be required to attend Build Skill Plus the specialist bricklaying apprenticeship centre based in Winsford in Cheshire once a week.
