About the apprenticeship
Packaging Automation Ltd based in Knutsford require hardworking and reliable people to join their team as Electrical Engineering Apprentices. Full training to be provided by Packaging Automation Ltd and Total People.
You will start a 4 year recognised Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering which will include day release to college to study for a L3 Standard in Electrical/Electronic Engineering at a local college.
Daily duties will include:
- Installation, maintenance and repair of electrical machines, equipment and controls
- Working on switchgear
- Making, fitting and repairing drives, motors and programmable logic control (PLC) panels
- Following manufacturers manuals for maintenance and repair
- Studying and acting upon wiring and circuit diagrams
- Tools calibration
- Inspection and testing of equipment and machines
- Carrying our preventative maintenance activities
- Carrying out quality control checks
- Plus a range of other duties as reasonably directed
