About the apprenticeship

The successful Apprentice will be expected to work within a team and have an element of independent thinking.

Duties may include:

Meeting and greeting clients
Housekeeping duties
Assisting stylist throughout the day
providing shampooing and conditioning services
Attend regular training sessions as required

Qualifications required

Grade 4-9 English and maths GCSE or equivalent is preferred, however, this is negotiable.

Skills required

The successful Apprentice will be required to have good communication skills, a flexible working attitude and be capable of conversing with and meeting and greeting clients. A team worker is vital in this small environment and a friendly nature with a professional attitude is required. Elements of independent working will be required but this will be developed during the Apprenticeship. Good timekeeping and time management are a must . A creative mind with an interest in fashion and hair is beneficial. Hairdressing can be physically demanding and can involve standing for periods of time.
