The company deliver a range of construction projects including new build, extensions and alterations, so the prospective apprentice would complete a variety of manual tasks during their apprenticeship.
The job will be varied and will include duties such as:
- General building work
- Mixing mortar
- Checking measurements
- Laying brick and blocks
- Loading out materials
- Unloading deliveries
- Keeping the work area tidy and safe
The company is looking for an enthusiastic candidate, with a good work ethic and would value the opportunity to serve an apprenticeship. First class time keeping is essential alongside a can do attitude to the job. A first class opportunity for the right calibre candidate.
If the candidate has some experience working in construction that would be beneficial, so work experience from school or / and general labouring would support the application.
The ideal location for the prospective apprentice would be in the in the Crewe or Nantwich area. The successful apprentice would be required to attend Build Skill Plus the specialist bricklaying apprenticeship centre based in Winsford in Cheshire once a week.
