Overview
The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa require 2 Apprentice Chefs to join their successful organisation as an Apprentice Commis Chef. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full time employment and progress to higher level qualifications.
About the apprenticeship
Daily duties will include:
- All aspects of catering
- Knife skills
- Preparation
- Cooking to order etc
Therefore, no skills are required as full training will be given. The salary will be reviewed after 3 months of the apprentice being in employment.
Apprenticeship qualification and training
- Hospitality Team Member Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
- Level 2 Diploma in Professional Cookery

The Grosvenor Pulford is a privately owned, four star establishment situated on the outskirts of Chester located near the Welsh border. We have 73 bedrooms all with en-suite and all individually designed. The hotel won 'Large Hotel of the Year' 2007. The company also have two other businesses within; The Pheasant Inn in Tattenhall and The Bear's Paw in Sandbach, Crewe.
