Overview
Pound Burger is a newly opened burger shop and we are seeking to add a Junior Chef with limited or no experience to work under the supervision of a Trained chef. You will be trained to gain skills and formal qualification needed to excel in an exciting industry with the possibility of a permanent role upon successful completion.
About the apprenticeship
You will be assisting the Senior Chef with various tasks including:
- Preparing ingredients and meals to set standards
- Following food production volumes to manage wastage
- Completing tasks to specification
- Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately
- Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
- Ensuring high standards of personal performance, and cleanliness always
- Keeping adequate stock levels
- Complying with all company policies and procedures
