Overview
MCU is looking to recruit a Business Administrator Apprentice to work within its business. MCU is a financial co-operative, owned and controlled by its members, and has been in business for 30 years.
About the apprenticeship
Some of your daily activities will be:
- Ensure the Credit Union is protected at all times by minimising risks and ensuring members money is protected
- Develop and maintain an understanding of all credit union products and services
- Ensure all work is carried out is in line with internal guidelines and FCA/PRA requirements, this will be taught to you so not to worry
- Act as first point of contact for all members and potential members, in person, on calls and online
- Develop and understand how to provide advice and guidance and to find solutions which meet member needs
- Develop and maintain a high level of attention to detail in decision making on loans in terms of quality of loans and ability of customer to repay
- Ensure all member transactions are recorded accurately in an organised and timely manner
- Maintain and operate filing and other record systems in accordance with the relevant procedures and controls, these will all be taught to you
- Organise your own work, in line with standards and deadlines set
- Ensure compliance with Data Protection legislation at all times, ensuring members information is kept safe, up to date and not shared with others
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations at all times
Apprenticeship qualification and training
Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
- EPA
- Functional skills if required
