Blue Machinery Central are a specialist provider of materials processing equipment for the quarrying, waste, recycling and construction industries in the UK. We are looking for an apprentice with big ambitions to join us and be a part of the ever-growing proactive, aftersales department.
About the apprenticeship
Reporting to the Aftersales Development Lead & the Field Service Lead, you will develop and take on the responsibility for planning and managing our Service Engineers day to day-to-day work, planning work in advance to make sure jobs run smoothly. Being responsible for each job from start to finish, managing work in progress to ensure jobs are invoiced in a timely manner and maximising upsell from jobs, to maintain business profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Engage & promote company H&S procedure's & culture
- Supplier Issues/Request
- Debtor Query/Dispute
- WIP - Service WIP
- Parts ordering - filter kits
- Engineer reporting, accuracy and timely
- Covering PM engineers & scheduling in work
- Confirming with customer of attendance after service sale
- Ringing and selling services
- Telematics monitoring / powerbi monitoring
- Advising customers on oil sampling
- Managing servicing spreadsheet
- Capturing upsell from service reports and estimating work
- Maintaining BlueCare email inbox
- On-time servicing
- On-time contract servicing via spreadsheet/ powerbi/ telematics
Apprenticeship qualification and training
- Business Administration Level 3
Career progression
This is a permanent role with opportunities to work towards a higher apprenticeship and develop further in your role.
