Overview
APSE provides a range of services to Councils across the UK including seminars, advice, training, benchmarking and knowledge sharing. The company are now looking to recruit a Business Support Apprentice to join their team.
About the apprenticeship
Duties to include: 1. Support the implementation of APSE's Business Plan and associated Service Development Plans. Contribute to the delivery of the business support team's agreed objectives. 2. Taking phone calls and sending/receiving e-mails. 3. Processing event bookings for both online and in-person conferences 4. Diarising meetings, arranging catering, and setting up office meeting spaces 5. Collating and mailing reports 6. General admin tasks including phone calls, emailing, monitoring stock 7. Website uploads 8. Liaise with a wide range of people, both internal and external to the Association (e.g. staff, suppliers, customers and auditors). 9. Assist and support the work of the Business Support team, including administrative tasks as requested
Apprenticeship qualification and training
Level 3 Business Admin Apprenticeship Standard. The programme will be delivered remotely by dedicated Total People Learning Coaches. There will be an End Point Assessment which will include a final exam.
Career progression
A full time position will be made available for the successful candidate upon completion of the apprenticeship dependent upon the situation of the company at the time.
