About the apprenticeship

We have 3 members of staff who joined us as part of an apprenticeship scheme a few years ago they are now all managers. ITD is rapidly growing and will suit a candidate who is willing to put in effort to learn, grow and develop with the industry. The role will report into the Customer Services Manager. This role would be perfect for a capable individual who has awareness of logistics industry but not a necessity.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing inbound query tickets via Zendesk
  • Tracking customer shipments
  • Liaising with the couriers and suppliers on a customer's behalf
  • Handling customer queries for late, damaged and lost parcels
  • Investigating lost and damaged parcels with suppliers within set timescales
  • Answering incoming calls to the office to assist customers and suppliers
