About the apprenticeship
Daily duties may include but are not limited to:
- To ensure the safety and security of the children in the setting
- Promote learning and enjoyment through planned play experiences in line with the EYFS
- To carry out daily observations on the children using a variety of methods
- To have an understanding of the key person role and safeguarding and welfare requirements
- Support children's physical needs through effective care routines
Apprenticeship qualification and training
Early Years Education Level 3 Standard
Training will take place in the work place, on the job. This will be in the form of shadowing experienced colleagues.
The successful candidate will also be required to complete online assignments and to take place in live, interactive webinars.
The apprentice will receive the full support of a Total People Learning Coach.
About the employer
We offer a very friendly home from home nursery within a secure environment; all staff fully qualified, CRB checked and cleared. Nursery meals provided for full day care for 6 weeks old to 5 years old, with sessional catering for 2 year old 4 year olds. We accept nursery education funded grants. Breakfast club for children aged 3-11 years old from 8am-9am. After school club 3.30pm-6pm Monday-Friday. We also run holiday clubs for 3-11 year olds.
