Packaging Automation, Knutsford is a leading manufacturer of packaging machinery. Due to the success of previous schemes and as part of their ongoing development, the business is now searching for three hardworking and reliable people to join their business as Electrical Fitter Apprentices

About the apprenticeship

Tasks associated include;

- Installation/maintenance/repair of electrical machines & equipment

- Working on switchgear

- Making, fitting and repairing drives, motors and PLC panels

- General maintenance and repair

- Studying and acting upon wiring and circuit diagrams

- Tools calibration

- Inspection and testing of equipment and machines

- Carrying our preventative maintenance

- Carrying out quality control checks

- Other duties as reasonably requested

Apprenticeship qualification and training

• Maintenance and Operations Engineering Apprenticeship Level 3 Standard
• Weekly off the job training in the Total People Engineering work shop in Crewe
• On the job practical training
