We are looking for an apprentice engineer. This is an opportunity for an individual to improve themselves and attain a transferable skill.
About the apprenticeship
We supply, install and maintain a comprehensive range of garage equipment, including MOT Equipment, vehicle lifts, mobile columns, engine cranes, engine stands and trolley jacks, and when required, other items such as battery chargers, engine starters and axle stands.
We also calibrate various pieces of MOT Equipment and undertake LOLER inspections of vehicle lifting equipment. In addition we undertake welding, manufacturing and finishing processes, along with various equipment testing arrangements at our Cheshire workshop. This is an opportunity for an individual to improve themselves and attain a transferable skill. We would like a mature individual due to vehicle insurance requirements We would like somebody who has the ability after training to ultimately understand electro, mechanical, and hydraulic drawings. Have the ability, after training, to ultimately achieve good problem solving skills. They must be physically fit to undertake the every day tasks that the job demands and for them to have the ability to ultimately understand the diverse equipment protocols of this industry
Daily duities will include learning tasks such as:
- Ability to diagnose mechanical, electronic or hydraulic issues
- Repairing issues
- Replacing parts
- Manufacture of the damaged parts
