Fowler & Gilbert is a privately run business with a reputation of one of the leading UK's Agricultural & Industrial building fabricators and installation specialist. We are currently seeking the employment of an individual to work as a Welding and Fabrication Apprentice.
About the apprenticeship
Core activities associated with the role include;
- Metal Jointing using a variety of techniques, often to form new structures
- Cutting and welding materials according to technical plans
- MAG welding, to manufacture items and components
- Following engineering plans, drawings, and instructions
- Operating tools and machinery and welding equipment
- Inspecting and testing welds with precision measuring instruments
- Cleaning tools, equipment and work areas
- Wearing correct PPE at all times
Apprenticeship qualification and training
Engineering Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship,
Includes a college day release programme in Crewe, transport provided
